Job description
Halian is hiring Navigation Engineer in Abu Dhabi.
Greetings!
Experience required: 5+ Years
Duration: 6 months & extendable
Technical Skills:
- Master's or PhD in Robotics, Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical and practical background in motion planning and classical and modern control.
- Proficiency in mathematical modeling and control algorithm optimization.
- Experience with system identification.
- Strong C++ expertise.
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 and navigation frameworks such as Nav2.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with optimization/control libraries such as CasADi and ACADOS.
- Learning-based control and neural-network-based system identification.
- Reinforcement learning for decision-making.
