Job description

YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES

Do you want to do more than just measure and inspect? Do you want to actively shape the quality of our products? As a Quality Technician, you will play a central role in ensuring our quality standards—from incoming goods inspection to the analysis and optimization of processes. With your eye for detail, technical expertise, and hands-on mentality, you will ensure that quality is not just maintained, but continuously evolved.

  • Incoming Inspection: You perform incoming goods inspections based on inspection plans and technical drawings to ensure all materials meet quality requirements.

  • First Article Inspection (FAI): You plan and execute First Article Inspections and meticulously document the results.

  • Measurement & Programming: You operate and program measurement and testing equipment, such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), optical measuring systems, or manual gauges.

  • Analysis & Documentation: You evaluate measurement results, analyze them, and systematically document your findings.

  • Reporting: You create and maintain inspection reports, plans, and protocols to ensure transparent traceability.

  • Problem Solving: You support root cause analysis for quality deviations and assist in implementing corrective and improvement measures.

  • Collaboration: You work closely with production, R&D, and suppliers to achieve optimal solutions.

  • Compliance: You ensure that all quality standards, norms, and internal guidelines are strictly followed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Education: You have completed technical vocational training, for example, as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, or in a comparable field.

  • Experience: You possess 3 to 5 years of professional experience in metrology and quality assurance.

  • Expertise: You have completed further training as a Metrology Technician and have a strong command of reading technical drawings and understanding tolerances (GD&T).

  • Methodology: You are experienced in First Article Inspections and common quality management methods.

  • Software & Tools: You are proficient in using measuring equipment and are familiar with CMM software such as Zeiss CALYPSO, Hexagon PC-DMIS, or Renishaw MODUS. Ideally, you have completed AUKOM metrology certification.

  • Soft Skills: You work in a structured, diligent, and quality-conscious manner.

  • Communication: You possess good written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
