Job description

In the AI Department, you'll develop the cognitive abilities of our robots, enabling them to understand and interact with their surroundings. You'll work on algorithms that make machines intelligent and adaptive—ranging from object recognition and language processing to decision-making in complex environments. You'll be part of a team that pushes technological boundaries and collaborates closely with software, hardware, and product management teams. Using cutting-edge tools and methods from machine learning and AI, you'll work on projects that have a direct impact on our products. If you're excited about making machines smarter and shaping the future of human-machine interaction, the AI Department is the perfect place for you.

Your tasks:

  • Lead and develop the team by building technical and operational competencies through mentoring, guidance, and structured knowledge sharing.

  • Contribute to hiring and interview processes, including candidate evaluation and onboarding for robotics and AI roles.

  • Support the development of hiring strategies to attract, assess, and retain top talent for robotics, AI, and engineering teams.

  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, documentation, and project execution standards.

  • Lead and coordinate teleoperation projects for humanoid and dual-arm robots from concept to deployment.

  • Manage timelines, priorities, resources, and stakeholders across multiple teams.

  • Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders and leadership.

  • Identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure projects stay on track.

  • Help translate technical goals into clear project plans and business objectives.

  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap and strategic development of teleoperation and AI-driven robotics solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience managing complex technical or cross-functional projects.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with engineering, software, AI, or robotics teams.

  • Strong organizational skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.

  • Comfortable working with technical topics, even if not directly involved in development.

  • Experience with robotics, AI, automation, or emerging technologies is a plus.

  • Fluent English; German is a plus.
