Job description

In the AI Department, you'll develop the cognitive abilities of our robots, enabling them to understand and interact with their surroundings. You'll work on algorithms that make machines intelligent and adaptive—ranging from object recognition and language processing to decision-making in complex environments. You'll be part of a team that pushes technological boundaries and collaborates closely with software, hardware, and product management teams. Using cutting-edge tools and methods from machine learning and AI, you'll work on projects that have a direct impact on our products. If you're excited about making machines smarter and shaping the future of human-machine interaction, the AI Department is the perfect place for you.

YOUR TASKS

  • Lead and grow the team by building strong technical and operational capabilities through mentoring, hands-on guidance, and structured knowledge sharing

  • Support hiring activities, including interviewing, evaluating candidates, and onboarding talent for robotics and AI roles

  • Help shape and execute hiring strategies to attract, assess, and retain top talent across robotics, AI, and engineering functions

  • Drive continuous improvement of workflows, documentation, and overall project execution standards

  • Lead and coordinate teleoperation programs for humanoid and dual-arm robots from early concept through deployment

  • Own planning and execution across timelines, priorities, resources, and multiple cross-functional teams

  • Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and leadership teams

  • Proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure smooth project delivery

  • Translate technical objectives into clear, actionable project plans and aligned business goals

  • Contribute to the long-term roadmap and strategic direction of teleoperation and AI-driven robotics solutions

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree in Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field

  • Experience leading complex technical or cross-functional projects

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

  • Ability to coordinate multiple teams and priorities in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience working closely with engineering, software, AI, or robotics teams

  • Strong organizational skills with a structured and pragmatic approach to problem-solving

  • Comfortable engaging with technical topics, even without being directly hands-on in development

  • Experience in robotics, AI, automation, or other emerging technologies is a plus

  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
