Job description
YOUR MISSION & CHALLENGES
PR role:
-
You manage incoming media enquiries, coordinate communication with editorial teams, and ensure all press contacts are handled professionally and promptly.
-
You prepare interviews and media shoots both editorially and logistically – from scheduling and briefing preparation through to follow-up.
-
You write and edit press releases, messaging frameworks, background texts, and other PR materials in both German and English.
-
You support the strategic development of our press work, identify topic and placement opportunities, and actively contribute with your own ideas.
-
You support in steering external PR agencies and service providers – from briefing creation to quality tracking.
-
You maintain the PR communications plan, monitor the media landscape, and prepare regular reports and analyses.
-
You work closely with the PR Manager, the content team, and marketing, serving as a reliable interface to internal stakeholders.
Internal communications:
-
You design and own the systematic build-out of internal communications across the entire NEURA Group - from channel strategy to recurring formats such as newsletters and all-hands updates.
-
You ensure content and timing are aligned between internal and external communications, so employees hear relevant news internally first.
-
You develop the processes and standards that make internal communications scalable - built for a company that's growing fast.
WHAT WE CAN LOOK FORWARD TO
-
You bring initial to several years of professional experience in PR, communications, or journalism – whether on the corporate or agency side.
-
You write exceptionally well – precisely, with the right tone for each audience, and at pace. German is your strength; you are confident in English both written and spoken.
-
You are familiar with the day-to-day workings of editorial environments and understand how journalistic processes work.
-
You think in a structured way, work independently, and keep your head clear while handling parallel topics and tight deadlines.
-
You have a genuine interest in future technologies such as robotics and artificial intelligence – and want to understand the technology, not just write about it.
-
You thrive in a dynamic scale-up environment where initiative is expected and processes are still being shaped.
-
You are confident using standard tools (e.g. MS Office) and you are open to new tools, AI-supported workflows, and experimentation
-
You are willing to travel for events and media appearances.
