Quality Control Engineer – Infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Conduct inspections for all infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, water supply, irrigation, telecom, street lighting, and associated civil works.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives.
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) and Material Inspection Requests (MIRs).
• Monitor testing activities for soil compaction, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, pipes, and other construction materials.
• Review laboratory test reports and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Raise, monitor, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Prepare Corrective and Preventive Action Reports (CAPA).
• Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test results, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC Manager regarding quality issues and project compliance.
• Ensure all materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Monitor subcontractors' work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support project handover by preparing quality dossiers and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with construction teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements.
