MEP Engineer (Revit Specialist)

Job Summary:

Responsible for designing, developing, and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems using Autodesk Revit and BIM standards. Ensures all MEP models are accurate, clash-free, and compliant with project specifications, local regulations, and client requirements while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and maintain accurate MEP models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with BIM standards.
• Prepare MEP shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing services with architectural, structural, and other disciplines to resolve design clashes.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and implement clash detection resolutions using Navisworks or similar software.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical requirements to ensure compliance with applicable standards and codes.
• Generate schedules, material quantities, and documentation directly from Revit models.
• Support project engineers and site teams with technical drawings, revisions, and design updates.
• Ensure all models and drawings are delivered within project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and clients regarding MEP design requirements and revisions.
• Perform other engineering and BIM-related duties as assigned by management.

Preferred Skills:

• Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit MEP) is an advantage.
• Experience with BIM Level 2 or ISO 19650 standards.
• Familiarity with Dynamo, BIM 360, ACC, or Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality engineering documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP design and BIM modeling.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (MEP) with strong knowledge of BIM workflows.
• Experience using Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, authority requirements, and international MEP standards is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Electrical, and ELV systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
