Senior Business/Data Modelling Analyst

The client is building a new Data Warehouse / Data Intelligence Hub for their Asset Management division. Data has already been migrated and the technical foundation is in place.

The mandate has arisen due to internal resource reallocation during budget delays, and an external expert is now required to drive data modelling activities. This position requires a senior profile with strong business analysis, data analysis, and data modelling capabilities.

The successful candidate will help shape the data warehouse, connect existing datasets, and coach internal team members.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the creation and optimisation of data models for the Data Warehouse / Data Intelligence Hub.

* Conduct business analysis to gather requirements from Asset Management stakeholders.

* Perform data analysis to validate data quality, relationships, and modelling decisions.

* Build conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

* Create and validate Power BI reports to demonstrate data availability and correctness.

* Collaborate with data engineers, business teams, and technical stakeholders.

* Guide and coach the internal team in data modelling best practices.

* Ensure the data warehouse structure is scalable and strategically aligned.

* Connect already migrated datasets to make them usable for analytics and reporting.

Desired Skills and Experience

* Minimum 5+ years in Business Analysis and Data Modelling.

* Strong technical background; experience in data engineering preferred.

* Strong understanding of data warehousing and modelling processes.

* Experience with Power BI (building reports, validating data structures).

* Ability to shape the data warehouse and work independently.

* Asset Management experience beneficial but not required.

* Certifications not required (but a plus).

Experience within Insurance/Financial Services is mandatory
