WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?

As QHSE Employee (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) you work closely together with the site leadership team to create a safe and healthy working environment for our employees. You are the driver for QHSE topics on site, performing relevant activities, executing projects and monitoring the safety and quality policy. You register and resolve operational issues relating to the QHSE disciplines. You are able to analyze patterns and trends; you provide the team with insights and you advise and action the countermeasures that need to be taken. In this job you cooperate with many colleagues from different departments; supervisors, operators, facility, lean agents, central experts, etc.

Some of the tasks you will perform:

Risk Inventory & Evaluations (RI&E) & monitor the plan of action

Checking Last Minute Risk Assessments (LMRA),

Leading safety tours on Site and process the outcome

Assess risks in workplace investigations

Coordinate and discuss management of change processes

Drafting and maintaining Emergency & Evacuation Plans, coordinating and leading the Emergency Response Team

Conducting incident analyses and managing follow-ups

Creating and implementing safety procedures and instructions

Raising safety awareness across all levels of the operation by giving trainings and toolboxes across the site

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?

Your workplace and focus is the site in Den Haag! You are part of the QHSE Area Team, consisting of around 5 colleagues and a lead. You report to the QHSE Business Partner. Together you ensure that our employees are working in a safe and healthy environment, which guarantees the quality of our logistics service towards our customers.
