About this Position
Deliver high-quality technical support to help drive the profitable sales growth of dispensing and curing equipment in line with regional business targets. Represent the European Region for all ACM equipment-related activities including strategy and execution of all Assembly Automation, Industry 4.0 and Equipment Repair/Servicing topics across the region.
What you´ll do
- Day-to-day supervision and management of the AE Equipment Team in Europe
- Responsible for organisation of the ICD Equipment Lab with respect to 5S, SHEQ and development of corresponding best practices
- Manage the process of customised equipment solutions including technical specification, design and delivery/execution of systems in accordance with relevant ISO standards, on-time and in-budget
- Develop content for continuous training and upskilling of local sales and technical teams to drive the adoption of automated assembly solutions and Total Solution Selling’ in all European countries
- Support the introduction of new innovative equipment solutions with regards to testing, customer-evaluation and user training
- Identify unmet customer needs and market trends to support the innovation process in ACM
What makes you a good fit
- Degree or Masters in engineering/science related discipline
- +10 years of industrial/professional experience including a minimum +5 years’ Loctite Application Engineering experience with a proven track record of providing technical solutions for industrial customers
- A recognised ambassador for ‘Total Solution Selling’
- Practical understanding of the design and operation of electro-pneumatic machinery and the integration into industrial manufacturing processes
- Familiar with necessary EU regulations relating to industrial machinery
- Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experienced in technical and commercial negotiation
- Proven project management experience delivering customer facing projects to strict time and financial targets
- Well developed leadership skills with experience leading multi-discipline international teams to deliver business objectives
