Regional Tax Lead

🚨 Hiring: Regional Tax Director | Singapore

My client is a top leading investment management firm to hire a Regional Tax Director to oversee the tax function across Asia.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll work closely with senior business leaders to shape tax strategy, support regional expansion, and ensure the business remains compliant in an increasingly complex international tax landscape.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing the regional tax strategy aligned with business objectives
• Advising on cross-border transactions, investment and fund structures, financing arrangements, and corporate restructurings
• Leading all aspects of regional corporate tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax, GST/VAT, and other direct and indirect tax matters
• Managing tax risks, governance frameworks, and relationships with external advisors and tax authorities
• Monitoring international tax developments, including OECD, BEPS, and Pillar Two, and assessing their impact on the business
• Driving process improvements and providing technical tax guidance to regional finance teams

We're looking for:

✔️ 12+ years of tax experience gained within investment management, hedge funds, private equity, banking, financial services, or a Big Four firm

✔️ Strong expertise in international tax, cross-border structuring, transfer pricing, corporate tax, withholding tax, and indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions

✔️ Experience advising on investment management or fund structures

✔️ A commercially minded tax leader with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
