Accountant, Finance (Consolidation)

For our regional headquarters in Singapore we are looking for an

Accountant, Finance (Consolidation)

Your main responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of consolidated group accounts in accordance with group accounting policies and statutory requirements
• Perform book-keeping activities for assigned entities, including posting of journals to accounting system
• Full ownership of monthly accounting processes (AR, AP, GL, recharges) and payment processing
• Support year-end closing processes, including preparation of statutory financial statements and GST/income tax filings
• Assist in responding to audit queries from external auditors
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties (e.g. service providers, external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities) where required
• Support and ensure compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (including GST/WHT), audits, procedures and forms, both statutory and internal.
• Support new corporate processes and system implementation
• Any other related duties as assigned

Your qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or CPA, CA Singapore, or ACCA certification
• Open to auditors from Big 4 with consolidation experience (2+ years of experience)
• Strong knowledge of accounting consolidation and MS Excel
• Comfortable with managing volume of data and systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and with strong documentation and organizational skills
• Proactive attitude to solve problems and ask questions
• Proficiency in LucaNet and MS Dynamics F&O will be advantageous
