Officer, Trade Finance Operations

StriveX is working with a regional Corporate Bank in Singapore seeking an experienced Trade Finance professional to join their operations team. This is a key role within the Trade Finance Operations function, offering the opportunity to handle end-to-end documentary trade transactions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of trade finance operations, including LC advising, LC issuance, document checking, and financing for both LC and non-LC transactions.

• Liaise with clients on documentary requirements and provide operational guidance on trade finance matters.

• Process accounting entries, reconciliations, and prepare reports related to trade service and finance activities.

• Ensure all trade documents are compliant with the terms and conditions of letters of credit.

• Administer and maintain accurate records of all trade-related documents.

• Support ad-hoc operational tasks and projects as required.

Key Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in trade services or trade finance operations within the banking sector.

• Strong knowledge of import and export trade transactions.

• Familiarity with UCP600, ISBP, URC, URR, and Incoterms is an advantage.

• Good understanding of AML/CFT regulations and compliance requirements in trade finance.

• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
