Corporate Accountant

An established Singapore-headquartered advanced engineering and manufacturing group is looking to appoint a Corporate Accountant to support its group finance function. The business operates across multiple specialist industrial segments with an international footprint, and the role sits at corporate level where finance visibility is high.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will work within a lean corporate finance team supporting group-level accounting, statutory compliance, management reporting, cash flow management, and banking-related activities. The role will cover full sets of accounts, month-end and year-end closing, tax and statutory filings, intercompany matters, treasury coordination, cash flow forecasting, bank documentation, and management reporting schedules. There will also be meaningful exposure to process improvement and finance digitalisation, including the streamlining of manual workflows and enhancement of reporting efficiency

This role offers the chance to build depth in finance operations within a stable, well-structured group environment while gaining exposure to complex multi-entity reporting and treasury matter

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification.
• Prior work experience in External Audit firm
• At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with exposure to full sets of accounts, month-end closing, year-end closing, and statutory reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax and regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable reviewing existing finance processes and supporting automation, digitalisation, or workflow improvement initiatives.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage recurring deadlines across monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, bankers, and external service providers.
