Equity Analyst

We are currently working with a regional financial services firm to appoint an Equity Analyst / Senior Equity Analyst in Singapore or Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental equity research on SGX-listed companies across various sectors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, valuation frameworks, and earnings forecasts.
• Produce high-quality research reports, investment recommendations, and sector updates.
• Engage with clients to discuss sector views, market developments, and stock recommendations.
• Participate in company meetings, management interviews, and industry events.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic developments that impact covered sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 2 to 8 years of experience in equity research or equity analysis.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CFA Level I or progress towards the CFA designation is advantageous.
• Candidates based in Singapore or Malaysia are encouraged to apply.
