Job description
Are you an experienced Payroll Executive who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Join a leading recruitment and staffing firm where you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for a large contractor workforce while maintaining compliance with Singapore's employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for approximately 300 or more contractors under the agency's payroll.
- Ensure timely and accurate salary computation, CPF contributions, statutory deductions, overtime, allowances, reimbursements and final salary payments.
- Prepare payroll reports and support monthly payroll reconciliation.
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding documentation, including employment contracts and payroll-related records.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, CPF regulations, MOM requirements, and other relevant statutory obligations.
- Handle work pass administration, where applicable, including coordination on pass applications, renewals and cancellations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related queries professionally and promptly.
- Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality of payroll and personal data.
- Support payroll audits and prepare documentation required for internal or external reviews.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist with other HR, payroll or administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accountancy or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of payroll experience, preferably within a recruitment, staffing or outsourced payroll environment.
- Experience managing payroll for a high-volume contractor workforce (approximately 200 employees or more).
- Good working knowledge of Singapore payroll practices, including the Employment Act, CPF regulations, MOM requirements, statutory contributions and payroll compliance.
- Familiarity with work pass administration (Employment Pass, S Pass and Work Permit) will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
