Job description

A global hedge fund organisation is urgently hiring a FP&A Analyst in Singapore. The role is APAC coverage. This is an exciting oppportunity for the right candidate who thrives working in a dynamic and high pressure environment, learning from experienced Finance colleagues and also contributing to the organisation. NO WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP is provided.

  • Additional headcount
  • FP&A, financial modelling and building dashboards (MUST HAVE)
  • Hedge fund or asset management industry or financial services industry experience (most preferred)
  • Open to consider candidates from Management Consulting organisations or International Big 4 organisations who have financial modelling experience, NOT AUDIT experience

Main responsibilities : -

  • Performs business analysis, delivering strong economic insights for providing decision making support to senior management
  • Reporting and analysis of portfolio managers compensation which is an integral expense for the organisation
  • Financial modelling on ad-hoc strategic business opportunities, preparing monthly business dashboards to senior management
  • Prepare various monthly and quarterly financial dashboards with good business insights for senior management reflecting actual results, and comparisons to forecasts / budgets

Main requirements : -

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or related field is preferred from a good University
  • 3 to maximum 7 years’ experience in Financial Services industry in an FP&A role, candidates working in hedge fund or asset management industry or financial services industry are required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (Pivot tables, macros, VBA); Knowledge of Tableau a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communications with the ability to communicate with senior management, peers and professional staff
  • Communicating with impact to effectively manage upward to influence decisions.
  • Strong attention to details, quick learner, thoroughness and strong ownership of work
  • Good team player, able to prioritize work, strong analytical skills and finance rigour with high sense of urgency
