Functional / Business Analyst – SimCorp Dimension

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Functional/Business Analyst with strong expertise in SimCorp Dimension implementation and configuration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with front-to-back investment management processes and a deep understanding of asset management operations across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements from stakeholders across Front Office, Middle Office and Back Office functions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and SimCorp Dimension configurations.
  • Lead and support SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, upgrades and enhancement initiatives.
  • Configure and maintain SimCorp Dimension modules in line with business and operational requirements.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to align business processes with system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with business users, technology teams and vendors to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents and test scenarios.
  • Support SIT, UAT and production deployment activities.
  • Provide post-implementation support and resolve functional issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to best practices across investment operations.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst within Asset Management or Investment Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience in SimCorp Dimension implementation and configuration.
  • Experience across the full project lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing and deployment.
  • Good understanding of investment management workflows and operating models.
  • Experience working with multiple asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives and Private Markets.
  • Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle management, portfolio management, accounting, settlements and reporting processes.
