Job description

About aNewSpring & Training Optimisation

aNewSpring helps training providers and L&D teams get more out of their learning. The platform is the foundation, but the real value sits in the process of L&D itself: how programmes are designed, built, delivered, and measured. Training Optimisation is where we bring those value drivers to the customer, so they get more than software. They get the expertise that makes the whole process work.

The drivers that actually make L&D pay off, strong learning design, disciplined delivery, and honest measurement, are exactly where the value is created. Training Optimisation owns that layer. Demand is growing fast, and this role sits right at the heart of that growth.

The role in one line

You run our customer projects from start to finish, you keep every change tied to scope, timeline and investment, and you help turn a healthy pipeline into signed work.

This role has two sides. On one side you are the steady hand who runs projects to a clear standard: the single point of contact the customer trusts. On the other side you create momentum: spotting opportunities, working alongside our account managers, and helping the commercial engine run. You report directly to the Training Optimisation Lead and work closely with our learning specialists, Customer Success, and Sales.

What you will do

Run the projects

  • Be the single point of contact for the customer throughout the project, managing expectations and keeping communication clear and timely.
  • Own the delivery process gate by gate — scope, deliverables, build, and sign-off — so every step moves forward with the right agreement in place.
  • Protect scope by tying every change request back to scope, timeline and investment.
  • Coordinate the people who do the work, including learning specialists and external partners, and keep them focused on what was agreed.
  • Safeguard quality by running checkpoints and making sure work meets the standard before it reaches the customer.
  • Manage risk proactively by identifying what could go wrong early, keeping a clear view of issues and dependencies, and proposing mitigations before they become blockers.
  • Report with discipline by providing regular, structured status updates to customers and internal stakeholders - covering progress, decisions required, risks, and next steps.

Help generate the work

  • Spot and nurture opportunities alongside the account managers, helping move a healthy pipeline towards signed projects.
  • Work with the commercial team, including Sales and the SDR, to support lead generation and co-selling around learning design and effectiveness.
  • Represent the value of strong learning design in conversations with prospects and customers, so they understand what they are buying and why it matters. On-site presence with customers, including during sales cycles, is a regular part of this.

What you bring

  • A genuine learning background. You come from the L&D or EdTech world and are up to speed on learning methodology, how learning systems work, and what makes programmes effective. This is essential: it lets you speak the language of the work and earn the customer's trust from day one.
  • Project management craft with real experience running client projects to scope, timeline, and budget. You manage dependencies and keep the whole project moving. This is fundamentally a service delivery role: you understand that every project has four things to hold in balance — scope, resources, timelines, and quality, and you keep all four in balance across the full project lifecycle.
  • A commercial instinct and genuine comfort working close to sales: spotting opportunities and helping move them forward.
  • Calm under pressure, with the ability to hold a clear line on scope and expectations, even in a fast-moving environment.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, written and spoken. Both are required: you will work with
