Company Description
Music Rights (Singapore) Public Limited (MRSS) is a Singapore-recognised Collective Management Organisation representing record labels and music producers. MRSS licenses the use of sound recordings, music videos, and karaoke content across commercial and public platforms, and manages the collection of royalties for its members. Formed in 2018 through the merger of Recording Industry Music Services (RIMS) and Recording Industry Performance Singapore Pte Ltd (RIPS), MRSS operates under recognition from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) under the Ministry of Law. Royalties collected through licensing activities are distributed to members quarterly, with a final reconciliation at the financial year-end.
