Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing Fresenius Medical Care’s mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets.

Goal of function: The Area Sales Manager Critical Care NL is responsible for driving sales growth, market share, and profitability within the Critical Care business in the Netherlands through strategic account management and solution selling. The role builds strong customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, provides market insights, ensures accurate forecasting, and contributes to the successful execution of the commercial strategy, always with a strong focus on customer and patient outcomes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop relationships with Critical Care accounts, key stakeholders, and decision-makers to support customer satisfaction, business growth, and market share development in the Netherlands
  • Identify customer needs, understand business challenges, and provide tailored solutions and services that address account-specific requirements
  • Develop and execute account strategies and FME initiatives, ensuring a customer-focused approach that supports profitability, cash flow, and integrated solution adoption
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customer solutions, value propositions, and contractual agreements that meet customer and business objectives
  • Act as the customer advocate internally, strengthening collaboration across functions and contributing to the successful implementation of the Critical Care commercial strategy
  • Monitor market developments, customer trends, and competitive activity, providing insights that support business planning and commercial decision-making
  • Build and expand networks within customer organizations, leveraging internal expertise to meet customer needs and strengthen long-term partnerships
  • Promote the organization and enhance its reputation within the Critical Care market through effective customer engagement and relationship management
  • Support the design and delivery of differentiated customer experiences in alignment with global strategies and local business priorities
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and effective internal stakeholder relationships to support customer retention, business development, and operational excellence
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant FME policies, procedures, legal requirements, and corporate values in daily business activities

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, Critical Care, CKRT and/or ECMO experience is a strong advantage
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effec
