Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Dubai. The Electrical Engineer will design, review, and implement electrical systems that support smart home, automation, networking, and security projects for residential and commercial clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical designs and drawings, calculating load requirements, and planning power distribution for low-voltage and related systems. The role involves conducting site surveys, coordinating with project managers and technicians, and ensuring compliance with local codes, safety standards, and client specifications. The Electrical Engineer will also troubleshoot electrical issues during installation and commissioning, support testing and quality checks, and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge in Electricity and Electrical Engineering , including circuit theory, safety standards, and practical application in building systems.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design , including creating schematics, layouts, and load calculations for residential and commercial projects.
• Experience with Power Distribution systems, including panel schedules, cable sizing, protective devices, and coordination with other building services.
• Understanding of Power Systems , including low-voltage and integration with smart home, automation, and security infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and standards applicable in the UAE or willingness to quickly learn local regulations.
• Experience working on-site with contractors, technicians, and multidisciplinary teams, preferably on smart home, automation, or security projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications; proficiency with CAD or electrical design software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
