MEP Engineer – Facilities Management

Headway Holding Group LLC is seeking a qualified and experienced MEP Engineer with an Electrical Engineering background to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of MEP systems across multiple facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure all electrical and MEP assets operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local regulations and industry standards while delivering high-quality facility management services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the operation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems across assigned facilities.
• Plan, supervise, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities for MEP equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems, including LV panels, generators, UPS systems, lighting, and power distribution.
• Coordinate maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems (BMS).
• Conduct routine inspections and technical audits to identify maintenance requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Diagnose system faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and local authority regulations.
• Prepare maintenance schedules, technical reports, service records, and asset documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure quality and timely execution of work.
• Review contractor performance and verify completed work against technical specifications.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Respond to emergency maintenance situations and provide technical support when required.
• Assist in project planning, refurbishment, system upgrades, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, client requirements, and applicable UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and MEP design experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Facility Management or Building Maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection systems, and BMS.
• Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and facility management best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of CAFM software is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Working Conditions
