Civil Project Engineer - HV Transmission & Substation

We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Civil Project Engineer to join our team working on high-voltage transmission line and substation projects across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing civil engineering activities related to both overhead (OHL) and underground (UG) transmission lines, as well as substation infrastructure . This role requires strong technical expertise, project coordination skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and supervise civil works for HV transmission lines and substations.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely execution of civil activities.
• Review and approve civil engineering drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Ensure adherence to Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and local regulations.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and project updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering for HV transmission and substation projects.
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and quality control.
• Familiarity with SEC standards and procedures.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management tools.

Additional Requirements for Non-Citizen Applicants

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering awarded at least 5 years ago.

Additional Requirements for Applicants from Saudi Arabia

• Valid Saudi driving license.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.
• Prior SEC approval or submittal is preferred.
