Accountant

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Jeddah. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintaining accurate general ledger entries. The role includes preparing financial statements and management reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing. The Accountant will ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and local regulations, and will help prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reviews. The position also involves collaborating with other departments to provide financial insights, resolve discrepancies, and support operational decision-making.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial accounting, including general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Proficiency in preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and performing account reconciliations.
• Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and attention to numerical accuracy.
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and basic audit procedures.
• Effective communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Previous experience in aviation, logistics, or a similar industry is beneficial, along with familiarity with multi-currency transactions.
• Ability to work on-site in Jeddah and manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
