Job description

Our client is a fund management company based in Singapore. They specialize in customized private market solutions for wealth management firms, helping partners deepen client engagement and deliver tailored investment opportunities to high-net-worth individuals and family offices.

As a young and innovative firm with a diverse team of professionals, they are seeking a dynamic, driven, and motivated individual with a strong interest in alternative investments to join our team.

We are seeking an Investment Analyst with experience in origination, due diligence, and transaction structuring within private equity or investment banking.

The role will be at the Analyst, Associate, or Senior Associate level, depending on experience and capability, and will report directly to the Head of Investments / CIO. The position is based in Singapore.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of private market deals, including origination, screening, due diligence, and structuring.

  • Update and maintain a high-quality database of primary and secondary private market issues.

  • Build and sustain relationships with potential buyers and sellers.

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce key marketing materials, such as fact sheets and investment decks.

  • Support the business development team in marketing direct investments to clients.

  • Stay informed on the latest market trends and relevant news.

  • Ensure strict adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration, with 2–3 years of relevant work experience.

  • A master’s degree in finance or business administration is a plus but not required.

  • Experience in client-facing roles, stakeholder management, or consulting, particularly within the finance industry, is preferred.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • Critical thinking skills with a focus on improving and developing products.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fluency in English with strong business proficiency is required. The ability to conduct business in Mandarin is a plus.

  • Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in data management, processing, or analysis is advantageous.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), with working knowledge of SQL and Python demonstrated through professional or academic projects.

  • A collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions and business units.
