Automation Software Test Engineer (Selenium / Cypress)

As a Software Tester, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using modern automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
• Execute automated test suites, analyse results, and report defects and software quality insights.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and ensure requirements are well understood.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in testing standards, coding practices, and overall quality.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
• Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins), version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerisation tools (e.g., Docker).
• Support Agile/Scrum delivery processes and iterative development cycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium and/or Cypress frameworks.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript or Python.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and web application architecture.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
