About the Role

We are looking for a Presales Engineer with strong testing domain knowledge to support client solution discussions, proposal development, and testing service positioning across Southeast Asia.

The role will work closely with sales, delivery, and technical teams to understand client requirements, design suitable testing solutions, and support RFI/RFP responses. The ideal candidate should have experience in software testing, QA delivery, automation testing, performance testing, or test management.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Client Engagement

• Support sales teams in client meetings, discovery sessions, and solution discussions.
• Understand client testing requirements, pain points, project scope, and business objectives.
• Present testing solutions, service capabilities, delivery models, and project approach to clients.
• Translate client requirements into practical QA/testing solution proposals.
• Support RFI, RFP, RFQ, proposal preparation, and technical response documentation.

Testing Solution Design

• Design high-level testing solutions based on client needs, including manual testing, automation testing, performance testing, regression testing, system integration testing, UAT support, and test management.
• Recommend suitable testing tools, frameworks, team structure, delivery timeline, and engagement model.
• Work with delivery teams to estimate testing effort, resource requirements, project risks, and implementation approach.
• Prepare solution materials such as testing strategy, test approach, methodology, project plan, and capability presentation decks.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with sales, delivery, recruitment, and technical teams across Malaysia, Singapore, China, and other regional offices.
• Coordinate with internal testing practice teams to align proposed solutions with actual delivery capability.
• Support knowledge transfer from presales stage to delivery team after project award.
• Assist in building reusable testing solution templates, case studies, and capability documents.

Market & Capability Support

• Support the development of testing service offerings for banking, insurance, fintech, enterprise, or digital transformation clients.
• Keep updated on testing trends, QA automation, AI testing, performance engineering, DevOps testing, and quality engineering practices.
• Help strengthen the company’s positioning in testing and QA services across Southeast Asia.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of presales, solution consulting, technical consulting, or testing solution support experience.
• Strong experience or understanding in software testing / QA services.
• Able to communicate fluently in English for client-facing discussions.
• Able to use Mandarin for internal coordination with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
• Good understanding of testing lifecycle, test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA delivery process.
• Ability to prepare proposals, solution documents, presentation decks, and client-facing materials.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Advantageous

• Experience in banking, insurance, fintech, payment, or financial services projects.
• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, JMeter, LoadRunner, Postman, or similar tools.
• Experience with performance testing, API testing, mobile testing, security testing, or test automation framework design.
• Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, test management tools, and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or ALM.
• Prior experience supporting RFP / proposal / tender responses.
