Job description
Do you enjoy supporting employees and helping to create a smooth workplace experience? Are you organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn more about human resources and office administration?
As an HR Intern, you will support daily HR and administrative activities, ensuring that employee-related processes and office operations run efficiently. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement and offboarding.
You will work closely with the HR team and internal stakeholders to support day-to-day operations and contribute to delivering a positive employee experience at Vallen.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Assist in posting job advertisements on recruitment platforms and social media channels.
- Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules with candidates and hiring managers.
- Prepare interview documents, maintain recruitment records and follow up with candidates where required.
Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Lifecycle
- Assist in preparing onboarding documents for new hires.
- Coordinate pre-employment documentation and onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Support employee confirmation, transfer, promotion, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records and personnel files.
HR and Office Administration
- Ensure employee records and HR databases are updated accurately and timely.
- Prepare HR letters, forms, and other administrative documentation.
- Assist with filing, document management, and data entry.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mails. Including arranging local and international courier services and coordinate internal collection/delivery.
- Assist with stationery and pantry supplies ordering and stock tracking.
- Support in maintenance of office facilities and general office administrative requests.
Learning & Development
- Coordinate training schedules and training logistics.
- Maintain training attendance records and learning documentation.
- Assist in updating Learning Management System (LMS) records.
- Support employee development and training initiatives.
Employee Engagement
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, wellness programs, and company events.
- Support internal communication initiatives.
- Collect and compile employee feedback and survey results.
HR Projects
- Participate in HR improvement projects and process enhancement initiatives.
- Assist with HR analytics and preparation of reports and presentations.
- Support regional or local HR initiatives as assigned.
- Perform other ad-hoc HR and administrative duties as assigned.
Key Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Able to commit for 3 to 6 months.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with HR systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
