Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on Intern to support our factory operations and help us transition to a new company-wide software system (SAP). This internship offers excellent practical exposure to modern factory operations, production data management, and how a major manufacturing business runs behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize & Clean Data: Review, check, and update our production and manufacturing data to ensure everything in our new system is accurate.
  • Excel Management: Prepare and update Excel templates to help move our operational data into the new system.
  • System Updates: Enter daily production information into the system and help keep records up to date.
  • Factory Alignment: Work with the Factory Manager to make sure what is recorded in the system matches what is actually happening on the production floor.
  • System Testing: Help test the new system before it officially launches to ensure everything works smoothly.
  • Process Documentation: Help write down simple work instructions, guides, and standard procedures for the team.
  • Team Support: Assist with everyday factory operations and team tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong Excel skills (comfortable using functions like VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and sorting data).
  • Comfortable handling large amounts of information and performing routine tasks with high accuracy.
  • Happy to work closely with shopfloor data and factory teams.
  • Great attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Clear communication skills and comfortable asking questions when unsure.

Advantages:

  • Any previous exposure to business software or inventory tracking systems (like SAP).
  • A basic understanding of how factories or production lines work.
  • Past experience organizing data, creating reports, or writing down step-by-step instructions.

What You Will Learn:

  • How major business software (SAP) is used to manage a real manufacturing business.
  • Direct insight into real-world factory workflows and production management.
  • Best practices for maintaining accurate data and organized business records.
  • How to collaborate across different teams, from the factory floor to project managers.

Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,500.00 per month
