About the Position:
The Regional Key Account Manager (RKAM) is responsible for managing and growing strategic Technology customers within a defined region. Acting as the primary regional commercial representative, the RKAM drives execution of global account strategies, strengthens customer relationships, and identifies opportunities to increase revenue, profitability, and share of wallet. Working closely with Global Account Directors, Account Executives, operational teams, and regional leadership, the RKAM ensures that DSV delivers a consistent customer experience while supporting the unique supply chain requirements of technology customers. The role combines commercial leadership, customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination to support long-term customer success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management
- Execute regional account plans aligned with the global customer strategy and business objectives
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and commercial functions
- Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling, and expansion of DSV services across divisions and geographies
- Drive customer retention initiatives and support contract renewals through proactive account management
Commercial Growth & Performance
- Deliver revenue growth, profitability improvement, and share-of-wallet expansion within assigned Technology accounts
- Maintain ownership of regional commercial opportunities, pipeline development, and customer growth plans
- Support pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and business case development in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to improve customer value and commercial outcomes
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary regional point of contact for strategic customer engagements and ongoing account activities
- Build trusted relationships with customer decision-makers and influencers at multiple organizational levels
- Lead regular business reviews and customer meetings to assess performance, discuss improvement opportunities, and align on future priorities
- Coordinate and manage customer escalations, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication
Technology Industry Expertise
- Translate industry insights into opportunities that strengthen DSV’s value proposition and customer engagement strategies
- Support customers navigating supply chain challenges related to speed-to-market, inventory optimization, resilience, sustainability, and global trade dynamics
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Global Account Directors, operational teams, solution design, engineering, and regional commercial stakeholders
- Align customer strategies across Air, Sea, Road, Contract Logistics, and other DSV service offerings
- Facilitate internal coordination to ensure customer commitments and service expectations are consistently delivered
- Support implementation of customer-specific projects, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
CRM & Commercial Excellence
- Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and pipeline information within DSV's CRM platform
- Utilize CRM insights and commercial reporting tools to support forecasting, opportunity management, and strategic planning
- Contribute customer and market intelligence to support broader commercial and vertical strategies
- Ensure compliance with DSV commercial processes, governance standards, and account management best practices
