Job Summary Responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting functions for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and its subsidiary, McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd. The role ensures timely financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supports budgeting, cash flow management, and system implementation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle full set of accounts for PaxOcean McPEC Modular Solutions Pte Ltd and provide backup support for McPec Marine & Offshore Engineering Pte Ltd.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with Group policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretary on statutory matters.
- Cash Flow & Intercompany Management
- Monitor and manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity.
- Handle intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and support treasury-related matters.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
- Support management in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
- Tax & Compliance
- Assist in the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns.
- Prepare and review quarterly GST returns.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- System Implementation
- Lead and undertake SAP implementation for the company.
- Ensure proper configuration, data migration, and user testing.
- Provide support and training to end-users during and after implementation.
Key Requirements
- Experience handling full set of accounts independently.
- Familiar with SAP system (implementation experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and Singapore tax regulations.
- Meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
