This includes leveraging analytics to proactively identify compliance risks and drive continuous improvement in governance.

Key Responsibilities: Develop Analytics for Compliance:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define compliance metrics and reporting standards, ensuring alignment with internal policies and requirements.
  • Continuously enhance compliance monitoring tools to adapt to evolving business needs and policies’ changes.

Spend Analysis & Cost Savings:

  • Lead the analysis of procurement spend data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Develop actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Present spend analysis findings to relevant stakeholders, highlighting areas for efficiency gains and cost optimization.

System Enhancement & Process Improvement:

  • Work closely with the Procure-to-Pay system provider to troubleshoot system bugs, address design flaws, and ensure seamless deployment of enhancements and change requests.
  • Drive the replacement and upgrade of existing tools/solutions to achieve better controls, streamlined processes, and improved user experience.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with Procurement and Expenditure teams to understand pain points and requirements, translating them into analytics solutions.
  • Provide training and support to users on new analytics tools and compliance processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent professional qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in procurement-related role with some accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrate tech-savviness, with deep understanding of system controls and hands-on experience developing analytics solutions for compliance monitoring and spend analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proven ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive mindset focused on delivering results and implementing effective solutions.
