Job Summary

eTeam is looking for a highly motivated Planning Engineer to ensure on-time customer delivery through effective production planning, material planning, capacity analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Central Planning teams.

The role also supports SAP S/4HANA migration by participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) , process validation, and system readiness activities while driving operational excellence through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Delivery & Order Fulfillment

• Ensure on-time delivery of customer production orders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams to fulfil customer demand and ad-hoc requests.
• Work closely with Central Planning to optimize production loading and network capacity.
• Monitor order commitments and resolve planning constraints proactively.

2. Material Planning

• Coordinate with Material Planners to ensure sufficient materials for production.
• Support engineering builds and production demand planning.
• Work with Supply Chain teams to secure wafer supply and critical materials.
• Monitor material availability and minimize production shortages.

3. Capacity Planning & Production Optimization

• Perform weekly capacity studies with Industrial Engineering (IE) teams.
• Analyze production capacity for regular and urgent customer requirements.
• Optimize production loading to maximize assembly output.
• Support tactical planning for short-term manufacturing schedules.
• Recommend improvements to increase operational efficiency.

4. Production Build Execution

• Coordinate with Process Engineers on engineering lot builds.
• Ensure production starts with the correct process flow and materials.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely execution.
• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous process improvements.

5. Probe Scheduling & Process Optimization

• Optimize probe job scheduling for maximum equipment utilization.
• Manage bin combinations, repair density, and parameter settings.
• Develop dashboards and alerts for early issue detection.
• Work with Engineering teams to resolve probe-related discrepancies.

SAP S/4HANA UAT & Migration Support

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Support SAP S/4HANA User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Execute end-to-end planning and warehouse process test scenarios.
• Validate SAP S/4HANA transactions and SAP Fiori applications.
• Record defects, test results, and process gaps in UAT tracking tools.
• Perform regression testing after system fixes.

Process Mapping & Validation

• Support process mapping for SAP S/4HANA migration.
• Identify process differences between SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA.
• Validate SAP configurations related to planning, warehouse, inventory, and batch management.
