Production Planner

Job Summary:

Production Planner responsible for developing and maintaining the Master Production Schedule (MPS) by translating demand forecasts and customer orders into an achievable production plan. Ensures production adherence by balancing demand, capacity, and inventory while maintaining smooth workflow and on-time execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure alignment between demand and production capacity
• Translate demand forecasts and customer orders into a feasible and executable production plan
• Ensure production adherence by monitoring execution against the plan and addressing deviations
• Schedule production activities at the right time to meet delivery commitments and optimize workflow
• Balance demand, capacity, and inventory levels to support efficient operations and minimize disruptions
• Monitor and support smooth production flow to ensure targets are consistently achieved
• Perform rough-cut capacity planning to identify potential constraints and support proactive planning decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align priorities and resolve planning issues

Required Qualifications:

• Strong planning and forecasting skills
• Advanced Excel / ERP knowledge (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Understanding of production processes
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving
• Good communication and coordination
• 2-3 years of relevant experience
