Senior Testing and Commissioning Engineer (Ref.No. R1012076) at our location in Singapore You will enjoy having these responsibilities:

  • Coordination and liaising with the technical project management, the relevant system engineers and other parties involved in testing of project.
  • Good knowledge in electrical circuit drawings and possess relevant testing experience of track circuits, point machines, signals and other signalling equipment.
  • Responsible for coordinating installation support, T&C activities throughout the execution phase.
  • Plan and execute testing and commissioning activities for railway signaling system.
  • Liaison with customer during Testing & Commissioning, Migration, Software Update and Revenue Phase of projects.
  • Manage interfaces with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Defining the pre-requisites and the priorities for the T&C planning.
  • Report to Testing and Commissioning Manager (Urban Rail Signalling, Communications) on project progress and team activities on a weekly basis.
  • Organize "readiness reviews" before system testing, and follow up on mandatory corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage action plans to address system malfunctions, aiming to achieve performance targets.
  • Prepare documentation (test procedures, method statements, testing and commissioning reports etc.)
  • Maintain the site always neat and tidy.
  • Providing comprehensive support to the T&C Manager by delivering all necessary inputs, data, schedule plan, issue list, KPI reports etc. to ensure effective communication management with both internal and external stakeholders

You have:

  • Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Electronics, Railway Systems, or related technical discipline. Alternatively, candidates with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Railway System projects will also be considered.
  • Good knowledge in electrical circuit drawings and possess relevant testing experience of track circuits, point machines, signals and other signalling equipment.
  • Team player who is analytical, well-organized, resourceful, result-oriented and able to work in a diverse and fast paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment, including multimeters, scopemeters, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.

  • Flexibility to perform night work including weekend and public holidays when required by the project.
  • Excellent command of the English language (read, written, spoken)
  • Positive work attitude, good planning and organization skills.
  • Willing to work Night Shifts
