Position Overview
- Role Title: Deal Desk Analyst
- Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
- Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Language Requirements: Business-level fluency in English is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities As a Deal Desk Analyst, you will be the central operational engine for regional deal execution, ensuring commercial viability and compliance.
- Strategic Deal Structuring: Collaborate directly with regional Account Executives and Sales Leadership to construct complex, non-standard enterprise deals, optimizing for both customer value and OutSystems' revenue goals.
- Commercial Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to the sales team on pricing strategies, discount positioning, contract negotiations, and commercial terms.
- Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the primary liaison aligning Sales, Legal, Finance, and Order Management. Ensure smooth communication and swift resolution of roadblocks during the quote-to-cash process.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure all proposed deals adhere to internal corporate policies, legal guidelines, and software revenue recognition principles (e.g., ASC 606).
- System & Process Optimization: Manage and optimize the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) process within Salesforce. Identify bottlenecks in the deal approval workflow and propose process improvements to increase deal velocity.
- Data Accuracy & Reporting: Maintain pristine accuracy of deal data in CRM systems, providing leadership with reliable insights into deal pipeline, discount trends, and commercial metrics.
Qualifications We are looking for a highly analytical, commercially minded professional with a keen eye for detail and the confidence to guide senior sales teams.
- Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Commercial Finance role, specifically within the B2B enterprise software (SaaS/PaaS) industry.
- Technical Tooling: Strong, hands-on proficiency with CRM and CPQ systems (Salesforce CPQ experience is highly preferred). Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of enterprise software pricing models, subscription metrics (ARR, MRR, Churn), and SaaS legal/commercial terms.
- Compliance Knowledge: Working knowledge of software revenue recognition standards and corporate compliance protocols.
- Communication & Diplomacy: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to firmly but constructively push back on non-compliant requests while maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with a high-performing sales team.
- Cultural Intelligence: Ability to thrive in a highly diverse, multi-cultural environment, understanding the nuances of doing business across different APAC countries.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related highly analytical field.
