Data Scientist (Junior Level)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing data visualization of Xiaomi International Internet Business to provide visibility of performance trends across key markets.
• Automate data quality monitoring and alerting processes and maintain data integrity and accuracy across reporting pipelines.
• Support key data platform and/or data scheduling jobs to deliver insights to the business operation team in a timely manner.
• Assist in identifying business issues through data analysis, providing feasible solutions to improve future performance.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and transform data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Quick BI, Power BI) to support day-to-day business decision-making.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis to answer business questions and present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and engineering to define metrics and support data-driven initiatives.

Requirements:

• Maintain data processing pipeline.
• Deal with large, complex data sets to meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
• Good knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, Python or other analytical tools.
• Experience using a BI/visualization tool and knowledge of visualization practices.
• Ability to engage key stakeholders across different markets.
