Project Engineer (ICP)

Statement Of Purpose (Overall Purpose of Job)

To be the company representative and liaise with the Clients, Consultants, relevant authorities and occupiers to ensure project is delivered within quality, time and cost requirements.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

(A) Specific :

• Review architectural drawing ensuring the type of system, finishes and colours had been approved.
• Prepare materials sample for submission and arrange site mock up.
• Prepare technical documents, materials data sheet, test report, method statement for submission.
• Prepare project schedule and progress report.
• Conduct on site testing and submit technical or test report.
• Attend project coordination meeting, project safety meeting and project inspection walk.
• Prepare materials forecast and submit for approval and procurement.
• Manage and coordinate with project team to ensure proper work execution and good workmanship according to the drawing / specification.
• Prepare micro-schedule for the project team and ensure that work duration is within the master schedule set by project manager.
• Prepare work completion form for sign off by client.
• Update project progress to project manager.
• Respond to email correspondence.

(B) General :

• Co-ordination with clients, supplier & subcon.
• Ensure project team work efficiency & productive.
• Monitor and control materials usage within the materials forecast.
• Other duties as assigned.

(C) Safety:

• To follow the safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.

Job Requirements

(A) Education, Qualifications & Special Training :

• ITE / Diploma / any relevant certificate to building construction / project management.
• Possess CSCPM / BCSS and MWAH.
• Job holder without the above qualification but with relevant experience would be considered.

(B) Knowledge & Skills :

• Good interpersonal skill.
• Proactive and initiative.
• Must be self-driven, able to work independently & team player.
• Must able to work in construction site.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong in Persuasion, Service oriented, Client relationship and People Management.
• PC literate & knowledge in MS Office.
• Preferably possess Singapore class 3 driving license.

(C) Experience :

• Preferably with minimum 2 years’ working experience in epoxy / polyurethane resin floor / wall coating.
• No relevant experience would be considered if willing to learn and possess good working attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Project management: 2 years (Preferred)
• Construction site: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: In person
