Job description

Generates the company payroll, including labor distribution records, vacation and sick leave accrual, overtime, and withholding status. Meets all government reporting requirements for payroll taxes, withholding, and employer contributions.

Payroll experience should be at least minimum 3 years payroll/project management. Familiarity with Sap payroll system and workday is preferable

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Payroll & Time Management Excellence

  • Manage end-to-end time and attendance processing, ensuring accurate capture, validation, and payroll system integration
  • Review payroll outputs and reports to ensure data integrity and compliance
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to resolve discrepancies where required

🔹 End-to-End Payroll Processing

  • Execute both main and off-cycle payroll runs with high accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform payroll reconciliation and prepare detailed reports for Finance and Treasury
  • Facilitate salary disbursements via bank portals (GIRO and cashier’s orders)
  • Ensure timely statutory submissions (e.g., CPF contributions) in line with regulatory requirements

🔹 Employee Lifecycle & Exit Management

  • Manage payroll-related aspects of employee separation, including final pay, leave encashment, and overtime payouts
  • Process severance payments and ensure full compliance with applicable policies
  • File IR21 tax clearance for foreign employees accurately and on time
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Employee Relations to resolve any outstanding balances

🔹 Stakeholder Collaboration & Support

  • Provide payroll outputs and insights to Treasury and Finance for month-end activities
  • Work closely with stock administration teams on ESPP cessation and related reporting
  • Respond to employee queries via multiple channels (email, phone, ServiceNow) within defined SLAs

🔹 Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Support system testing (e.g., SAP UAT) and payroll-related enhancements
  • Contribute to process improvements and participate in ad hoc HR/payroll projects
