Family Group: Administration (Enterprise Risk Management)

JOB PURPOSE

To assist the Assistant Director (AD (ERM)) and follow the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes at Woodlands Hospital (WH), and cover some of the duties of the Assistant Manager (ERM) who is on maternity leave.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES'

Specific

i. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):

Assist AD (ERM) and follow the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) processes at Woodlands Hospital and the reporting and submission timelines as guided by AD (ERM).

Request for regular updates and maintain the risk registers and ERM PRISM database.

Arrange meetings with depts. to discuss risks, controls and key risk indicators (KRI), and document the risk information in reports and meeting notes.

Draft reports and powerpoint slides for review by internal parties.

Support the enhancement of ERM training materials and resources.

Provide assistance and respond to emails and queries from depts. on ERM-related matters.

ii. Control Self-Assessment (CSA):

Attend CSA development sessions and coordinate CSA activities with internal depts.

iii. Insurance:

Liaise and coordinate with depts. and the insurance broker on renewal proposal forms, claims/ notifications, meetings and queries on insurance related matters as guided by AD (ERM).

Provide required information to insurance broker on potential claims in a timely manner.

Assist AD (ERM) in processing insurance premium payments and documentation.

General

Participate actively in organisational initiatives when required, including Improvement, IT, CSA, Audits, Data Protection, Operations Projects at the hospital level.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Reporting Officer (RO).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education / Training / Experience

Degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience

Professional License (if any)

NIL

Attributes

Good teamwork, communications and interpersonal skills.

Able to work both independently and collaboratively with various departments.

Proficient in Microsoft office applications and systems.

Detail-oriented and meticulous in handling qualitative and quantitative data.

Healthcare experience preferred.
