Job Description

This role will serve as the primary architect of our digital storefront and brand voice. Responsibilities include managing WordPress, SEO/GEO optimization, and securing strategic brand partnerships to increase vPost’s presence. The manager will also craft compelling content and collaborate with the wider marketing team to synchronize SEM and organic traffic strategies, which is crucial to achieving the vPost team's revenue growth.

  • Website & CMS Management: Take full ownership of the vPost website, ensuring all content is accurate, visually engaging, and optimized. You will manage the backend via WordPress, handling content updates, landing page creation for new campaigns and basic site maintenance (e.g updating of extensions).
  • Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a robust content calendar. This includes writing high-quality blog posts, guides, and promotional copy that resonates with cross-border shoppers and drives organic interest.
  • Partnership & Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify and reach out to international brands and merchants to secure exclusive deals, coupons, or collaborations that add value to vPost members and boost our market presence.
  • SEO & GEO Optimization: Lead the strategy for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). Working with our vendor to ensure our content is discoverable not just by traditional search engines, but also by AI-driven search and discovery tools.
  • Traffic Acquisition (SEM): Work closely with the performance marketing team to align organic content with paid search (SEM) activities. You will ensure that landing pages are optimized for conversion to maximize the ROI of our ad spend.
  • **Performance Tracking:**Monitor web analytics to report on traffic trends, user behavior, and campaign success, using data to iterate and improve future marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • CMS Mastery: Proficiency in WordPress is non-negotiable.
  • Search Expert: Proven experience in SEO best practices and an understanding of the emerging landscape of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
  • Analytics: Strong competency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Search Console to track and interpret user data.
  • SEM Alignment: Experience working alongside paid media teams to coordinate keyword strategies and landing page consistency.
  • Soft Skills & Experience:
  • Negotiation & Outreach: A "hunter" mindset for finding brand partners and the communication skills to pitch mutually beneficial deals.
  • Editorial Flair: Exceptional writing and editing skills in English, with the ability to adopt a brand voice that is helpful, savvy, and professional.
  • Industry Knowledge: (Preferred) Experience in E-commerce, Logistics, or Cross-border shipping industries.
