Software Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a Multinational Organisation and they are looking for a Software Engineer to be part of their team. This role requires strong full-stack development capabilities, with a primary focus on modern frontend development using Next.js and backend services built with either Java or Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using Next.js.
• Build and integrate scalable backend services using Java or Node.js.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (mandatory requirement).
• Deep understanding of modern frontend development, including React, state management, and performance optimization.
• Strong experience with either Java or Node.js.
• Ability to design and build scalable APIs and backend service.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software architecture.
