Storekeeper — Engineering & Automation

POSITION SUMMARY

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory records of raw materials, engineering components, tools, consumables, and finished goods. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support production and project teams by ensuring material availability and inventory accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of inventory items.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Monitor inventory movements and update stock records in the inventory system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Material Issuance & Control

• Issue materials, components, and tools to production and project teams according to approved requests.
• Monitor material consumption and usage.
• Ensure proper documentation for all stock transactions.
• Track returnable items, tools, and equipment.

Warehouse Operations

• Organize and maintain warehouse and storage areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and according to company procedures.
• Coordinate material transfers between departments and project sites.
• Prepare materials for production, assembly, and installation activities.

Procurement & Supplier Coordination

• Assist in monitoring minimum stock levels and reorder points.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Procurement departments for replenishment of stock items.
• Follow up on pending deliveries and shortages.
• Support vendor and delivery coordination activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate inventory records and filing systems.
• Prepare inventory reports and stock movement reports.
• Ensure all receiving and issuance documents are properly recorded.
• Support audits and inventory verification exercises.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and equipment.
• Support compliance with quality and inventory control procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Certificate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Controller, or related position.
• Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, fabrication, automation, or industrial environment is preferred.
• Experience handling engineering components, mechanical parts, or industrial equipment is an advantage.

Language Requirements

• Proficiency in English and Arabic.

Pay: ﷼3,000.00 - ﷼7,000.00 per month
