Manager (Training Institute Excellence)

What The Role Is You will design, develop, and maintain the organisational excellence framework deployed across the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), working closely with SAF Training Institutes to monitor performance, analyse data, and drive continuous improvement through technology and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

What You Will Be Working On

• Collaborate with personnel of all ranks across SAF Training Institutes to support data collection, data analysis, and the preparation of assessment and recommendation reports
• Monitor the progress of Training Institutes in implementing the organisational excellence framework and provide guidance and assistance where needed
• Continuously research, review, and update the organisational excellence framework to ensure its ongoing relevance and effectiveness
• Leverage technology and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) to enhance the implementation and data analysis capabilities of the organisational excellence framework
• Develop valid and reliable measurement tools for the sub-components of the framework to accurately reflect the status and performance of the Training Institutes

Challenge(s)

• Developing valid and reliable measurements for the sub-components of the organisational excellence framework that accurately and meaningfully reflect the operational status of the Training Institutes
• Keeping the framework relevant and effective in a dynamic environment while managing the varying needs and priorities of stakeholders across multiple Training Institutes

What We Are Looking For

• At least 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred
• Good working knowledge of statistics, data analytics, and data visualisation tools
• Familiarity with GenAI tools and their practical applications in an organisational context
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to diverse audiences
• Competent in engaging and managing relationships with both military and civilian partners and stakeholders
