Backend/Full-stack Web3 Developer

Role Description As a Backend/Full-stack Web3 Developer at Spinbattles, you will design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs that power Web3-based applications. You will implement and integrate smart contracts, connect on-chain data with off-chain services, and ensure system reliability, security, and scalability. On the full-stack side, you will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth user experiences. You will work closely with product and design to translate requirements into technical solutions, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Zurich, where you will collaborate in person with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong Back-End Web Development skills, including designing APIs, managing databases, and integrating Web3 services.
• Experience in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with the ability to work across the stack and own features end-to-end.
• Solid Front-End Development capabilities, including responsive UI implementation and integration with backend services.
• Proficiency with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to support front-end styling and maintain consistent design systems.
• Hands-on experience with Web3 technologies (e.g., smart contracts, blockchain SDKs, wallet integration) and related security best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language commonly used in Web3 projects (e.g., Node.js/TypeScript, Go, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar) and version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to work on-site in Zurich, collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team, and communicate clearly in English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in gaming, fintech, or blockchain is a plus.
