Job Summary

This role focuses on maximizing property performance by driving leasing strategy, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring financial objectives are met. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between operations, marketing, and finance to optimize occupancy and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Source and identify target tenants and actively pursue new trade and tenant mix to maximize rental revenue and optimize occupancy rates.

Negotiating and managing all assigned renewals, lease agreements and rental rates to align with company financial expectations and targets.

Assist in coordinating viewings, provide regular leasing reports and updates to management as and when required and ensure smooth workflow across departments.

Assist in formulating and implementing strategic leasing initiatives aimed at optimizing occupancy rates and rental revenue.

Conduct market research to keep abreast of retail market and trend

Foster strong relationships with existing and prospective tenants

Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues efficiently

Monitor and track tenants' performance and compliance with lease agreements

Work closely with operations, marketing communications, and finance teams to improve tenant satisfaction and enhance overall property performance.

Assist to prepare leasing budgets and quarterly forecasts and monitor performance against financial targets.

Key Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Real Estate, Building Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum 3 - 5 years of leasing experience in commercial or retail property sectors

Proven track record in achieving leasing targets and managing tenant relationships

Knowledge of lease terms, legal requirements, and property management principles

Possess positive disposition and strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Ability to multi-task, resourcefulness, an eye for details and work within timeline

Education

Bachelors

Diploma in Real Estate or Building Management
