Your team You'll join the Mixed Methods Product Research team, reporting to the Director of Research. The team partners with product trios across the organization, bringing together qualitative research and quantitative analysis to help teams make better product decisions. You'll work as a peer to the Product Data Scientist.
Your mission
As a Senior Product Researcher at Frontify, you'll help shape the future of how brands work by turning customer and market signals into clear product insights.
The role combines two disciplines: running rigorous product research, and building the AI workflows and automation that make research faster, more consistent, and easier for teams to use. In practice, that means conducting qualitative, competitive, and market research to uncover meaningful opportunities, designing AI-assisted workflows that handle the repetitive parts of research operations, and helping product teams self-serve common research questions through reusable tools.
This is a highly autonomous role where curiosity, initiative, and sound judgment are just as important as research expertise. You identify the opportunities, define the priorities, and move initiatives forward, sharing early analysis and work in progress to help teams learn quickly and refine decisions. And when it's time to present your findings, you don't just report — you bring the customer's world to life in a way that makes teams feel it.
Your responsibilities
- You'll partner with product trios to deliver timely, decision-ready research that informs product strategy and development.
- You'll plan and conduct qualitative research, including customer interviews, synthesis, and structured analysis.
- You'll perform competitive and market research to help teams understand trends, opportunities, and emerging customer needs.
- You'll design, build, and maintain AI-assisted workflows that improve research operations, including recruitment, synthesis, analysis, and reporting.
- You'll create reusable research tools, templates, and frameworks that enable product teams to answer common research questions independently.
- You'll establish quality standards and validation processes that ensure AI-generated outputs are grounded in real evidence and sound research practices.
- You'll improve how research is captured, shared, and reused across the organization.
- You'll present findings in ways that build genuine empathy for users — turning data and interviews into stories that stick and drive decisions.
- You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Engineers to connect customer insights with product outcomes.
- You'll proactively identify opportunities to increase the impact, efficiency, and scalability of research at Frontify.
- You'll balance multiple priorities across teams while maintaining a high bar for rigor, quality, and speed.
Your story
- You can work in a hybrid format where you’re able to work on-site in our St Gallen office once a week, and then choose where works best for you for the rest of the week.
- You have 5+ years of experience in product research, user research, market research, or a related discipline within SaaS or technology environments.
