Responsibilities

  • To work on the design, architecture and building of enterprise systems
  • To work on the building of tools, reports, and feeds to fulfil business requirements from the trading, operations and risk teams of the company
  • To be responsible for software quality, efficiency, cost and operational resiliency
  • To participate actively in cross-company technology efforts to achieve various business and/or operational goals, as the need arises
  • To work closely with the various Heads of business lines and front office trading in the proper implementation and effective maintenance of various systems

Requirements

  • Presently pursuing a degree in a local university related to computer science, software engineering or a related course

  • Proficient in one of the following languages: Go, Java, Python

  • Knowledge of AWS and/or other cloud environments

  • Working knowledge in documenting processes and interfaces using common tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other reporting tools

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Students in a course not related to the above are also welcomed to apply if they believe strongly in their ability to code and/or in problem-solving.
