We are looking for a communications professional to support media engagement, thought-leadership content, and events that enhance Applied Materials’ visibility and reputation in the region. Based in Singapore, the ideal candidate will be part of the Communications & Public Affairs team, and play a key role in driving brand-aligned, high-quality content across channels.
Key Responsibilities Content development
- Develop presentation content, executive communications, social media posts and other written communications aligned with organizational narratives
- Contribute to the planning and execution of communication campaigns, including content development and performance tracking
- Play an active role in media and stakeholder outreach
- Support post-event reporting and insights to measure impact and inform future engagements
Events Management
- Support the end-to-end planning and execution of internal and external events
- Coordinate event logistics and materials, including vendor management, programme flow, onsite support, and production of event communications assets
- Develop and maintain event toolkits, templates, checklists, and processes to improve team efficiency and scalability
- Support post-event reporting, including metrics, insights, stakeholder feedback, and recommendations to enhance future engagements
Integrated Communications Support
- Collaborate with other business functions or employee groups to gather content for communication pieces
- Ensure event and marketing outputs reflect organisational priorities, key messages, and brand identity across all touchpoints
- Support broader communications activities as needed, such as internal communications
- Support regional projects and strategic initiatives
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar field
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing communications and events management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong media relations skills and experience working with local and regional media
- Proficiency in social media management and digital communication tools
- Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in visual communication, Adobe Photoshop or photography will be a plus
- Comfortable coordinating logistics and supporting multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
